Solid Surface

We are taking this opportunity to introduce our remarkable product we have to offer.

In the current economic climate we are aware of the advantage of being able to offer you a quality & affordable alternative product. This is exactly what we are able to do for you. Our product is not new & has been available under many different brand names for more than 20 years.

The name you are most familiar with is probably ‘Corian’, which is a brand name for the raw material Acrylic Solid Surface. The products that we are licensed to fabricate are ‘Staron’, Mirostone and ‘Evostone’ they has been on the Australian market for a number of years now & are becoming known throughout the industry for their range of  desirable colours, versatility & competitive pricing.

The long accepted benefits of acrylic solid surface are its:

  • Outstanding aesthetic appeal
  • Almost undetectable joints
  • Infinitely repairable
  • Practically limitless design parameters
  • Superior resistance to bacteria, mold & stain absorption
  • Higher flash points than either real stone or quartz based products.
  • Even after years of service in the most demanding commercial environments it an be sanded & polished to the same flawless lustre of the day it was installed.
  • Extensive warranty

In recent years reconstituted quartz based products, such as Caesar Stone, have often been the first choice of designers, architects & clients who want a counter top of higher quality than laminate & do not wish to use solid timber despite being inferior to A.S.S. in so many ways. We believe this is due to its heavy promotion in the media, not fact based comparison.

To entice you to use our counter fabrication & installation service we can offer the additional Bella Stone advantages of by being able to:

  • Eliminate delays caused waiting for masons, tilers or glass fabricators.
  • Co–ordinate counter installation immediately after base units are in place.
  • Form integrated sinks & basins
  • Fabricate splash-backs in conjunction with counters.
  • Have the pleasure of dealing with fastidious & professional tradesmen
  • Save you time & money
  • Give you a superior product & service for an affordable cost

As with all our products we can install all over Sydney & the Blue Mountains, retro-fit aged or damaged counters or fit the counters only to other contractors cabinets.

This picture shows an integrated basin seamlessly joined to the counter without an overhang for mold to accumulate. Further down are diagrams of the range of sinks & basins.

molddbench.jpg

Here we see three pieces joined, including one piece curved. Explode the picture & see if you can detect any joints.

whitesb.jpg

This picture shows how a contrasting colour can be used for splash backs. No need for grout joints for grime to gather and discolour. The panels are set into a groove so no joint is visible at the counter & no water can penetrate to get behind the cabinets.

sinkgroovs.jpg

This shows a under mounted stainless steel sink with drainage grooves routed into the counter surface. It also clearly shows the neat junction between the counter & splash back.

sitadrop

We call this a cascading or waterfall effect were the splash-back, counter, apron & table height top are formed seamlessly, something if attempted in a stone it would result in a number of ugly & dirt catching joints.

modernbench

Another example of seamlessly joined counter & splash-back. The junction has been ‘coved’ so there is no sharp intersection. The bench is finished with a large bullnose.

offvan1

This unit was created for our office as a display. it clearly shows the limitless design parameters of Bellastone. It also features drawers using Bella soft close hardware. The main unit is Soft Light with a Beige Tempest splash-back & surround. The basin is also Bellastone.

staron stairs

The treads on this staircase are box sections of Staron slid over R.SJ.s welded to stringer in the wall, as you can see there is a second flight. A great example of the versatility of solid surface products.
